NOV 01, 2004 (newstodate): At least two leading Scandinavian cargo GSAs agreee on GSA ethics - ScanPartners and GSAsia.
The unanimous agreement comes after a rift between them over a cargo booking in October on Alitalia by GSAsia, notwithstanding that Alitalia Cargo sales is provided by ScanPartners in the Scandinavian market.
-We may be in a rather stressed market situation, but if someone tries to book on an airline represented by another GSA we should still thank "no" and kindly refer the booking to the GSA designated by the airline, says Bo Seidelin, ScanPartners managing director.
And after some consultation between the parties, both parties now agree on cargo GSA ethics.
-I admit the incident, I have instructed our sales staff to avoid similar cases in the fure. It was a mistake, and it will not happen again, says Jonas Drewsen, GSAsia managing director.
