NOV 235, 2004 (newstodate): Taiwanese carrier Eva Air has ordered an addition Airbus A330-200 on top of its existing order for 10 aircraft.
Eight of the new Airbus A330-200 aircraft are leased from GECAS, and two are purchased directly from Airbus.
EVA Air's first A330-200 was delivered in June 2003, with the sixth aircraft delivered only yesterday.
The new aircraft offer increased cabin comfort, cargo capacity and lower operating costs than the older generation aircraft that are being replaced on regional and medium-to-long range routes.
