NOV 04, 2004 (newstodate): Icelandic ACMI-provider Islandsflug is adding an Airbus A300-600 freighter to its fleet.
The new freighter will be operated by Etihad Airways on an ACMI contract till 2007.
Islandsflug has also added an Airbus A310 aircraft that will be operated by French carrier Corsair.
With a fleet comprising 12 Boeing 737, two Airbus A310 and four Airbus A300-600 aircraft, Islandsflug is part of the new Icelandic Avion Group, operative from January 1, 2005, and also comprising Air Atlanta Icelandic with 28 aircraft, Air Atlanta Europe with seven aircraft, Excel Airways with 10 aircraft, Air Atlanta Aero Engineering, AVIA Services, and SouthAir.
