NOV 09, 2004 (newstodate): After only a week's deliberations, the Faroe Islands government has now finished its work on the application for traffic rights by DAT.
Already later today, the case will be relayed to the Danish Ministry of Transportation that will formally issue the expected approval of DAT to open flights between Copenhagen Airport and Reykjavik's Vagar Airport from this autumn already.
The Danish ministry is expected to follow its Faroese counterpart's approval.
It is not known, however, how much red tape is required before the case is officially sealed.
