NOV 19, 2004 (newstodate): Boeing is mulling plans for a stretched version of the new 7E7 Dreamliner.
While the launch version of the Dreamliner will take 200-250 passengers, the stretched version will accomodate more than 300 passengers, matching the wishes of several potentials customers including reportedly Emirates and Qatar Airways.
So far Boeing has landed 52 firm orders, but the company is hoping to pass the 200-mark before the end of the year, aiming primarily at M East and European airlines.
