NOV 25, 2004 (newstodate): Refuting articles with a negative approach to Air Moldovo, the airline claims to be in good shape.
According to Moldovan media, Air Moldova carried 170,000 passengers during the first nine months of this year, against 138,000 in 2003.
This would give the state-owned airline 52 percent of the air passenger market in the Republic of Moldova, the airline claims.
Air Moldova this month phased out its last remaining Russian-built aircraft, now operating a fleet comprising Airbus and Embraer aircraft as the only one in the country.
