NOV 11 ,2004 (newstodate): November marks Air Moldova's final farewell to Russian-built aircraft.
As part of its on-going fleet modernisation program, the airline, now operating two Airbus A320 and two Embraer 120 aircraft, has phased out all of its Soviet-built aircraft including TU-134, YAK-40 and YAK-42 aircraft.
In the final stage of its fleet program, the airline will decide on the acquisition of 60-70 seats aircraft to meet charter and seasonal leisure requests.
