NOV 08, 2004 (newstodate): In 2004, Moldovan carrier Air Molodova has taken in its second Airbus A320 on an operational lease agreement, and its second Embraer 120.
Air Moldova has added Madrid as new destination, served from Chisinau, and entered a code-share agreement from August 1 with Tarom on the route between Chisinau and Bucharest.
Air Moldova's route network now comprises routes from Chisinau to Amsterdam, Rome, Istanbul, Paris, Bucharest, Prague, Vienna, Athens and Larnaca.
The next stage of fleet modernisation will comprise the acquisition of 60-70 seats aircraft to meet charter and seasonal leisure requests.
