NOV 01, 2004 (newstodate): Air Andalucia is confirming plans for a start-up date early in 2005.
-The question we are asked most often is "When will you start flying?" I wish the answer was simple but there are many factors involved in deciding the launch date. These factors include the right route structure, licensing, marketing and all the technical requirements, says Kevin Griffiths, Air Andalucia CEO.
-We are determined that all the issues are resolved and fully functional before we make the official announcement. However, we are working to make it all come together early 2005, he says.
Budget airline Air Andalucia has been mulling plans for a route network to connect Granada, Spain, with London Manston and Odense Airport, Denmark on a twice-daily base.
