OST 12, 2004 (newstodate): Turkmenistan Airlines has confirmed orders for two Boeing 717-200 aircraft valued at USD 80 million at current list prices.
The new aircraft to be delivered during August, 2005, will join Turkmenistan's fleet currently comprising five 717-200, three 737-300, and four 757-200 aircraft.
Turkmenistan Airlines' fleet modernization plan started in 1992 when the airline became the first CIS Boeing customer.
