OCT 20, 2004 (newstodate): Russian airline Transaero is seeing brisk growth rates in traffic during the first nine months of 2004.
The airline's cargo volumes during the period rose no less than 109 percent to 8,414.73 tonnes against 4,032.96 tonnes last year.
The airline's flight operations volume grew 70 percent, and the growth in RTK was 93 percent, indicating a significant increase in overall cargo load factor.
Transaero will soon launch its new Moscow -Singapore route, and introduce daily flights on the route from Moscow toYuzhno, Sakhalinsk.
