OCT 26, 2004 (newstodate): From October 31, Singapore Airlines Cargo's freighter service from Chicago to Copenhagen will be changed, calling instead at Brussels.
The change will not, however, decrease the company's frequencies and capacity at Copenhagen.
-Starting from the new winter program, we will instead share capacity on a freighter service from London to Singapore, says Kim Irmov, Singapore Airlines Cargo manager nordic.
Singapore Airlines now operates five weekly services in the Nordic market, served by its hub at Copenhagen Airport.
The demise of SQ Cargo's Chicago-freighter, where SAS Cargo had a blocked-space agreement into Copenhagen, has been compensated by SAS Cargo through an expanded cooperation with Korean Airlines Cargo on its new freighter service from Chicago to Oslo.
