OCT 01, 2004 (newstodate): From today, October 1, Russia will reportedly suspend provision of airnav services to aircraft from several CIS countries.
The list comprises airlines of Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine that are said to have accumulated debts from lack of payments to the Russian civil aviation agencies.
Russia aims at letting the states concerned take on the debts from the airlines that include several already out of service after being declared bankrupt, sources say.
