OCT 13, 2004 (newstodate): From October 31, 2004, Lithuanian Airlines and Aeroflot will start code-share operations on the Vilnius-Moscow route.
The flights will be operated by Lithuanian Airlines, and the airline plans to double the capacity on the Moscow route as from the coming winter program.
The flights will then be operated by Boeing 737 and SAAB 2000 aircraft, replacing the ATR 42 on the route.
Lithuanian Airlines has already signed code-share agreements with KLM on the Vilnius-Amsterdam route, with Finnair on the Vilnius-Helsinki route, with LOT on the Vilnius-Warsaw route, with CSA on the Vilnius-Prague route, with Iberia on the Vilnius-Barcelona and Vilnius-Madrid routes via Frankfurt and Brussels, and with SN Brussels Airlines on the Vilnius-Brussels route.
