OCT 19, 2004 (newstodate): New privately-owned aviation company in Kaliningrad, KaliningradAvia, expects to receive its first Boeing 737-300 aircraft early in 2005.
The airline has ordered a total of four Boeing 737 aircrat on a lease arrangement, part of a total batch of 19 aircraft to be added during next year.
Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport is also seen as a major new hub for traffic between Russia and destinations in Western Europe from 2006 after a thorough modernisation, now underway, to provide a new infrastrcuture meeting the needs of operators and travellers.
