OCT 22, 2004 (nestodate): After being granted traffic rights, Serbian airline JAT plans to re-start Transatlantic operations in 2005.
Sanctions including an air service embargo forced JAT to suspend its flights to USA and Canada in 1992.
JAT director general, Aleksandar Milutinovic, recently told press that JAT plans to resume its flights to New York and Toronto in
June next year.
Earlier this month JAT announced its decision to acquire new Boeing aircraft after a sustained period of negotiations with both Boeing and Airbus over the potential deal.
