OCT 06, 2004 (newstodate): The first Swedish-built SAAB 2000 has landed on British registry.
The ex-Crossair/SWISS aircraft has been leased from SAAB Aircraft Leasing to Eastern Airways for delivery by the end of this month.
The airline already operates the aircraft type since 2003, leasing a SAAB 2000 from Swedish airline, Golden Air.
This aircraft will now be fully taken over by Eastern Air and also placed on UK registry.
SAAB Aircraft Leasing manages a portfolio comprising 289 SAAB 340 and SAAB 2000 aircraft, leased to 25 customers in 13 countries.
