JAN 20, 2004 (newstodate): From March, 2004, Slovak Airlines plans to introduce a new twice-weekly route from Bratislava to Tel Aviv.
Also over the next two months, the airline prepares to lease one more Boeing 737-300 aircraft to increase capacity needed for expansion of the network by more destinations soon to be announced, an airline spokeswoman says.
The airline currently operates one leased Boeing 737-300, and will take in a third leased aircraft by May.
Among forthcoming developments is also a planned increase of frequency on the route from Bratislava to Brussels, currently operated three times weekly.
Already in 2003, frequency to Moscow was upped to four weekly flights.
As for air cargo, Slovak Airlines lifted a total of 180 tonnes of cargo in 2003.
