In 2002, Air Lithuania carried 46,163 passengers on routes between Kaunas and Palanga International Airports to Hamburg, Billund, Oslo, Malmo, and during the first nine months of 2003 the volume carried was 33,122 passengers.
The airline will be sold on an open tender, and SAS is expected to be among the potential buyers.
