JAN 15, 2004 (newstodate): Since December, Georgia's regional carrier Caucasus Airlines has been operating a daily flight from Tblisi to Baku.
Established early in 2002 and with two Embraer 120 aircraft, Caucasus Airlines serves a route network comprising regional destinations including Mineralnie Vodi, Dnepopetrovsk, Batumi, Sochi, and Yerevan.
The airline has contracted Pacific Island Aviation to provide operational and managerial oversight for a minimum of 5 years.
