JAN 29, 2004 (newstodate): Boeing has adjusted its estimates for 2004 downwards to match demands from what is expected to be a "soft market".
Boeing Commercial Airplanes delivery forecast for 2004 has thus been revised from an estimated 275 to 290 airplanes to approximately 285 airplanes.
Looking ahead, Commercial Airplanes expects deliveries in 2005 to be about the same as 2004.
The delivery forecast is essentially sold out for 2004 and over 90-percent sold for 2005.
Commercial Airplanes expects demand for aircraft services and spares to remain soft in 2004 due to difficult market conditions before picking up strength in 2005.
