JAN 12, 2004 (newstodate): As planned, Bluebird Cargo will receive its three new Boeing 737-300F freighters on a lease contract with GE Capital from April, 2004.
The three aircraft are currently being converted from passenger aircraft by Israel Aircraft Industries.
In addition to its own two Boeing 737-300 freighters, the airline is temporarily operating another two Boeing 737-300F freighters since September, 2003, and these will be handed back as the new aircraft are introduced.
