SEP 09, 2003 (newstodate): On September 8, a USAF C-130 Hercules took a Moldovian troop contingent into Iraq to join the coalition forces for a six-month period.
The contingent, comrising 42 soldiers, was flown from Chisinau directly to Baghdad Airport.
