Flights from China will be asked to fly through third-party air traffic area, such as Japan's Okinawa, to allow more time for Taiwan's side to ensure the flights are not military related.
A Taiwan-China joint-venture air cargo transportation station has been launched at Xiamen, China, on Tuesday. Taiwan's four airplane companies hold 49 percent of the share, while China holds 51 percent.
The station is expected to generate 150,000 tons of air cargo per year.
