SEP 17, 2003 (newstodate): Mainland airlines should be allowed to operate cargo services to Taiwan island, on an equal footing with Taiwanese airlines, says a Mainland China official.
His remarks came in response to the Taiwan authorities' recent proposal to start regular indirect cargo flights to and from the mainland from September 25.
