SEP 23, 2003 (newstodate): After failing to attract bidders in its privatization process earlier this year, Lithuanian Airlines has now surfaced with a plan to sell off its subsidiaries instead.
The airline's subsidiaries include Air Lithuania with two ATR aircraft, its catering company originally set up in cooperation with now-extinct Aero-chef, and a tour operating company.
These three subsidiaries are planned to be sold before the end of the year, while the airline's cargo company will be sold at a later date.
