SEP 02, 2003 (newstodate): The deal with SAS to provide a one-way Boeing 747-400F freighter service from New York to Copenhagen was a perfect match for Korean Air Cargo.
-So far we have shared capacity with Amsterdam on the twice-weekly freighter service between Korea and Copenhagen. With this new flight we have the full capacity on the flight Copenhagen-Korea, says Martin Wildner, Korean Air cargo assistant manager European sales.
Under the agreement with SAS Cargo, Korean still has part of the capacity from New York to Copenhagen, enabling the carrier to take ex-Korea exports into Copenhagen, thus also increasing the total service for the Scandinavian markets on the imports side.
