SEP 01, 2003 (newstodate): On September 1, Moldovian and German civil aviation authorities will meet in Germany to sort out a solution to the current row between the countries over traffic right on the route Frankfurt-Chisinau.
The parties disagree over the German designation of Cirrus Airlines, which Moldova accuses of "violating Moldovan aeronautic laws, and breaching of passengers' rights".
A company in the Lufthansa Group, Cirrus Airlines was designated by Germany in November 2002, but Moldavia has refused to issue an authorisation to the company.
In response, Germany has withdrawn the authorisation from the state-owned Air Moldova.
