SEP 15, 2003 (newstodate): Envirotainer, provider of a series of hi-tech temperature-controlled containers to the air cargo industry, confirms that a new leasing contract with Lufthansa Cargo is behind the airline company's announcement on a rates increase for its Cool.td products.
-Lufthansa Cargo was one of the first airlines to sign a lease contract with Envirotainer for the new series of temperature-controlled containers, says Magnus Welander, Envirotainer CEO.
-The original five-years contract has now been replaced by a new one running till the end of 2004, and reflecting the increased benefits for the customer including major technological improvements and new capabilities, Welander says.
