SEP 16, 2003 (newstodate): Norwegian aircraft broker company, Aircontact has landed a contract with the Danish Ministry of Defence for deployment of Danish forces from Kirgizstan to Kuwait.
-Four or five flights with an AN-125 from Polet Air have been scheduled during October to transport military equipment from Bishkek, Kirgizstan, to Kuwait from where the shipments will be taken by sea back to Denmark, says Magnus Gulliksen, Aircontact in Oslo.
Together with forces from Norway, that pulled out by April 1, and Holland, Danish F-16 fighters have been operating since October last yer from the Manas Base in Kirgizstan, and the Danish and Dutch forces will continue their operations until October 1, when the contingents and equipment will be deployed for home.
