SEP 30, 2003 (newstodate): Hungarian logistics company, AES Cargo is seeing continued expansion ahead.
-Thus far, 2003 has been a landmark year for our company, and all of our offices, from Central Asia to Africa, have experienced unprecedented cargo and moving volumes this past summer, says Curt Clements, AES Group managing director, in a company release.
-With growth on all fronts, AES Cargo is undergoing a period of tremendous change. Expansion is underway across the AES Cargo map as new operations unfold in the oil-producing regions of Kazakhstan, the Middle East, and Africa, he says.
-Our field staff has more than doubled in the past year and, as more contracts are signed, future additions will undoubtedly be required.
Complementing our growth in the field offices, staff numbers at our Budapest headquarters have also increased significantly, Clements says.
Duirng the recent period, AES Cargo has been much involved in relief and construction projects in Afghanistan and Iraq, and in various African localities.
