SEP 30, 2003 (newstodate): Slovenian carrier Adria says they are "on the verge" of landing a contract with "one of the largest European airlines" to carry out all maintenance work on their CRJ 200 aircraft during the coming year.
After one year of operation of the airline's certified Canadair Regional Jet aircraft, the portfolio now includes Lufthansa City Line, Air Dolomiti, Brit Air, Malev and Air Nostrum.
-In February this year, Lufthansa City Line entrusted the maintenance work for their entire fleet of 43 CRJ 200 aircraft to us, which we will conclude by April 2004. We are currently working on the 18th and 19th aircraft for them. For 2004 we are thus running at 80 percent capacity, says Pavle Prhavc, Adria aircraft maintenance division VP.
