AUG 21, 2003 (newstodate): easyJet has signed a contract with SR Technics to maintain the first five of its 120 new Airbus A319 aircraft.
The aircraft will be maintained by SR Technics in Geneva and operated from the easyJet Switzerland base Geneva for a period of six months from September 2003.
SR Technics is now seeking to secure the ten-year maintenance contract for the entire 120-aircraft easyJet Airbus A319 fleet.
Headquartered at Zurich Airport, SR Technics
employs some 3,000 personnel and provides services for over 350 aircraft, more than 300 powerplants, and over 78 000 components a year.
