AUG 21, 2003 (newstodate): On September 3, Kenya Airways and Kencargo will launch their new service from Nairobi to Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Kencargo Airlines International has appointed Martinair as its cargo GSA in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
The new route will be the first direct cargo service in the market from Hong Kong and Bangkok to Nairobi and beyond.
Kenya is the world's second largest flower export country and this service will offer new openings for fresh flower growers, as well as fresh produce and seafood exporters into the highly expanding consumer markets of Greater China and neighbouring cities in Asia.
