AUG 18, 2003 (newstodate): The Lufthansa catering company, LSG and JAT have signed an MoU to establish a joint venture in the aircraft catering business.
According to JAT, the company's main assets towards LSG are the annual passenger volumes at two million from Belgrade Airport, JAT Catering's monopoly in the business, and the easy access to cheap raw materials and labour force.
On its side, JAT's interest focuses primarily on the possibility of securing investments as well as access to a wide range of integrated and systematic solutions that the LSG offers through its four companies.
JAR expects the joint venture to be realised within the near future.
