AUG 14, 2003 (newstodate): bmi cargo has now started its phased introduction of GF-X services.
The first phase, now implemented, comprises bmi cargo shipments originating at all UK destinations, and Chicago and Washington in the US, to all destinations for all cargo products.
In the second phase, this will be extended to all bmi's European origin points, and the entire bmi cargo offering will be available on GF-X within the next two months, the company says.
bmi cargo uses a Tradevision reservation system which is now fully integrated with GF-X after only eight weeks of systems integration work.
