JUL 15, 2003 (newstodate): Sirius has been selected cargo GSA by new airline at Copenhagen, Arkia Israeli Airline.
The airline started twice-weekly operations at Copenhagen Airport from July 4, using Boeing 757-200 and -300 aircraft.
To connect with the new route, which is Scandinavia's only direct flight to Israel since SAS stepped out in December last year, cargo trucking services have been established to link ARKIA's operations at Copenhagen with Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmoe, Oslo, Helsinki, and Billund.
Sirius was established to provide cargo sales and marketing in the Nordic markets when Japan Airlines laid down their service at Copenhagen Airport.
So far, JAL Cargo has been Sirius' only customer airline.
