JUL 30, 2003 (newstodate): Despite some media speculations about the company's integrity, Thai travel conglomerate BlueSkyholiday continues its planning for an extensive route network to fly travellers between Europe and the Far East.
-Currently in the pipeline are routes Oslo-Billund-Bangkok/Phuket, Oslo-Billund-Ho Chi Min City, Oslo-Stockholm-Bangkok/Phuket, Zurich-Billund-Bangkok/Phuket, and Zurich-Billund-Beijing, says H H Tromme, the company's marketing manager.
The company will lease Airbus 340 and Boing 777 aircraft, with cockpit crews from Scandinavia and Switzerland,and cabin crew comprising 50 percent staff from Thailand, 25 percent from Switzerland,and 25 percent from Skandinavia.
According to Mr Tromme, headquarters for Asia will be Bangkok and Beijing, and for Europe in Zurich and Billund.
The new operator plans to start flights from October already.
