JUL 16, 2003 (newstodate): From August 20, Austrian Airlines will operate a new thrice-weekly direct connection to Baku, Azerbaijan.
With this latest addition, the airline claims to be the only airline to fly to all three Caucasian republics, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, offering a total of eight weekly connections to the region.
Including Baku, Austrian Airlines now provides scheduled flights to a total of 34 destinations in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
