JUL 22, 2003 (newstodate): Ukrainian carrier Aerosvit has obtained a three years credit line of USD 7 million with Joint Stock Commercial Bank Nadra.
Aerosvit plans to spend the credit on the financing of large-scale projects within ground infrastructure and the new aircraft.
In 2002 the airline's traffic volume increased by 38 percent, while revenues increased by 25 percent.
During this year's January-June, development has been even more impressive, with traffic volumes up 60 percent, and revenues up by 63 percent.
As part of the immediate plans for the future, Aerosvit will add one more Boeing 767 from this autumn already, in addition to the ex-SAS aircraft already in the fleet.
