JUN 24, 2003 (newstodate): From June 16, TNT Express has introduced an own BAe 146 aircraft on a route to Bucharest from its European hub at Liege.
And from June 30, the aircraft will extend operations to add services between Bucharest to Prague.
Before, TNT Express operated a combination of leased aircraft and belly capacity on commercial airlines. The new solution will reduce leadtimes and extend cut-off times by two hours for Bucharest, and 55 minutes for Prague. Also arrical times will be improved by one hour for Bucharest, and 90 minutes for Prague.
TXT Express customers in Bucharest and Timisoara will also enjoy benefits from extended cut-off times for shipments, as these cities will be connected to the new route through cooperation with other companies.
