JUN 04, 2003 (newstodate): Swedish Post-owned airlne, Falcon Air, has set up a base at Luleaa to provide nightly mail flights.
The flights will take mail between Luleaa, Umeaa and Stockholm Arlanda every night on a full rotation.
Falcon Air operates an ATR-42-300 with a cargo capacity at 5.2 tonnes, that will be based at Luleaa.
In addition to the ATR aircreaft that was acquired in March this year, Falcon also operates three Boeing 737QC aircraft that fly from Sweden to charter destinations during daytime.
Falcon Air has taken over the mail operation after West Air Sweden.
