Statistics from the Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration, published today, show that air cargo generated a total of 42,082 tonnes, up 1.7 percent, while airmail was up 8.7 percent to 1,919 tonnes, compared to last year.
Over the past ten year, total cargo and mail increased by an average of 12.5 percent annually, and by 10.9 percent over the past five years.
