Heading the new company is Sigthor Einarsson, president, and Petur Eiriksson, Icelandair Cargo´s president, who heads the Board.
-Loftleidir has been set up to provide ACMI services to customers in the global airline business, and from the outset the company operates four Boeing 757 aircraft, including two Icelandair Boeings made redundant after the recent decline in the airline's North Atlantic traffic, says Mr. Petursson.
