MAY 01, 2003 (newstodate): In April, Icelandic carrier, Islandsflug, has taken possession of its 4th freighter, an Airbus A300-600F.
As in the case of the previous aircraft that joined Islandflug in January this year, the new Airbus has also been stationed at Paris, to be operated on behalf of DHL Aviation.
Islandsflug's first Airbus aircraft, an A310-300F, has been operated for TNT since the end of 2001. The 2nd Airbus aircraft, an A300-600F, flies on a wet lease for Air France.
This year, Islandsflug has also added two Boeing 737 aircraft, operated by leisure carriers and based at Birmingham and Brussels, respectively.
