APR 16, 2003 (newstodate): Schenker Latvia has been designated as the Logistics Partner for the Eurovision Song Contest Latvia 2003 in Riga.
As the official logistics partner, Schenker provides full logistics support including transportation to and from Latvia and customs clearance of sound and lighting technique and other equipment necessary for the successful organization of the contest. The project requires significant administration and agreements with Customs authorities, border guard, as well as local authorities. Schenker provides the Eurovision organizers with a round-the-clock service including the logistics project co-ordination and management.
