MAR 18, 2003 (newstodate): According to current planning, Singapore Airlines Cargo will launch its 4th freighter service through Copenhagen Airport from April 4.
The freighter through Copenhagen is part of the company's new services from Singapore to China and onwards to USA before returning to Singapore.
From the start, the service will operate from Singapore to Macao and Seoul and via Anchorage to Chicago. From there the routing will be to Copenhagen, and back to Singapore via Dubai.
-Our other freighter services fly via Sharjah, so this is also an attempt to explore the business case for services to Dubai from Scandinavia, says Kim Irmov, Singapore Airlines Cargo manager Scandinavia & Finland.
The China-USA operations will start from May 22, and the routing for the 4th freighter at Copenhagen will then be Singapore-Xiamen-Nanjing-Chicago-Copenhagen-Dubai-Singapore.
