Lufthansa Cargo has launched the "Yellow Cargo" project to speed up its takeover of cargo management at carriers that focus on the passenger business. To that end, the logistics services provider in the Lufthansa Group will be founding a wholly-owned subsidiary later this year.
The services offered to client airlines comprise non-flight cargo management, such as yield management, capacity management, portfolio profiling and sales, flight planning data management, accounting, marketing, controlling, warehouse handling, hub management, handling and liaison management.
