MAR 06, 2003 (newstodate): Danish carrier, DAT is still seeing potentials for a planned route between Copenhagen and Kaliningrad, but the project is currently being kept on hold.
-Originally, we planned to open the route early this year, but procedures and negotiations to obtain traffic rights and slot-times proved so resource-consuming that the project was eventually down-graded in our priorities, says Allan Midtgaard, DAT marketing manager.
Midtgaard says the project has not, however, been abandoned and as slot-times have now been obtained the projected route may become a reality after the company has completed its other, more pertinent projects for new routes in northern Sweden, and Norway.
