MAR 05, 2003 (newstodate): CSA plans to open a new cargo terminal at Praguew Ruzyne Airport before the end of 2003, according to an airline release.
The new terminal, built in cooperation with German company Hochtief VSB Company as general contractor, will have a capacity at 60,000 tonnes of cargo and mail, with a maximum capacity at 100,000 tonnes when fully expanded. The new facility will replace the current terminal that will be removed to allow for the building of a new passenger terminal.
DHL will be leasing a "significant" part of the new terminal that will also accomodate the Czech Post Office.
